Status Report

Because I know you're all curious... it's been ten days without nooky for 'Nony! Gasp! Although that's still nothing compared to the nearly-year I went prior to that.

I've been successfully avoiding Hook-Up Guy so far. It's helped that I've been completely overwhelmed with work this week and legitimately haven't had time for him. He was the last hook-up, and is still totally into me, but I can't seem to find a way to successfully convince him the feeling's not exactly mutual.

I did have a successful message exchange with Out of Town Guy. He says he misses chatting with me, which isn't the same as missing me, but I'll take it.

And then there's this new guy. Totally cute, sexy New York accent, and like me, not totally into the gay "scene." But his life is kind of a mess right now. He drunk dialed me about five times last night, and I was actually getting a little worried about him, but he did make it home safely.

So the hunt continues. Other than attempting to throw Hook-Up Guy off the scent, none of the contestants have been officially voted off the island yet. And more keep showing up. So I guess that's good.
