So... Everyone Wants Me To F--k Off

Apparently the phrase "traditional homos" in the previous post is bringing out the claws in the comments section.

Every so often I end up getting ripped a new one for my snide little statements like that. Longtime readers know this blog is laced with sarcasm, but oftentimes that just doesn't always translate in the way I intend it, and people take offense. You're entitled to shout back, that's why I keep the comments open. The personal attacks do sting, I'll admit. Out of anger, I do consider lashing back or even deleting the blog.

I'm not perfect, I've never claimed to be, I've even said so numerous times on this blog. I've been roundly criticized for having too high an opinion of myself, but also for having too low of a self-esteem. There's no pleasing everybody. And there's no changing who I am, as much as I may write about wanting to.

So keep reading or don't. Lighten up or get angry. I don't really care anymore. I write foremost for myself anyway.
